It is that season again! Well OK, truth be told, this picture is actually from last Fall's show, but things are shapping us nicely this year as well. This tree is right in Gorham, on Rt. 202, not far from the intersection with Rt. 25. So far this fall, this tree is just starting to change, but I imagine it will be in full color within a week or so. I just love how orange it gets....the picture does a fair job of capturing the true beauty of it, but to see it in person is breath taking! The orange takes on an indescribable quality in the sunlight, something akin to the brightness of hunter orange, yet with a more iridescent quality.
But this is only one of many shades of orange, yellow, red, and even purple that you will find if you come to visit us at the right time of year (hint, hint).
I love this tree, and wish I had one like it! This is a definitely Maine at its finest!

So, we are amazed by our Minnesota fall because we just moved from Wyoming...but, we're beginning to realize that Minnesota probably doesn't have anything on Maine when it comes to fall colors!
